We want to connect you with the nation's finest speakers in youth development, leadership, and ATOD prevention.
As an accredited Snowball Chapter 10% of all general sessions and workshops must address alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) education related topics. With this in mind, choose your topics and speakers with care, they will set the tone for your event. Topics used often include: leadership skills, violence, dating and relationships, sexual abuse, alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, suicide, self-esteem and self-concept, goal setting and values clarification.
Be sure to get referrals, outlines and at least three names of different speakers in case one isn't available. Ask for a video or where they will be performing next. Without previewing their material, there is no guarantee they will do or be what you want. Be sure to balance content with show.
