BIO

High School hypnotist Jim Wand provides high quality hypnosis entertainment for any high school event. Whether it’s for an assembly, Project Graduation, or post prom event hypnosis is the key to entertainment. Hypnotism is a great tool for entertainment, but it also provides helpful suggestions to students. With the increase of temptation and the peer pressure to use drugs and alcohol, Wand Enterprises knows how important it is to provide an alternative source of entertainment. Whether it’s for Project Graduation or a Post Prom event, stage hypnotist Jim Wand guarantees satisfaction. Every hypnotist we represent uses hypnosis in a safe and age appropriate way. We never want any of our volunteers to feel embarrassed, hypnosis is meant to entertain. Stage Hypnotist Jim Wand, the CEO of Wand Enterprises, has been performing at high school events over the past twenty years. Over the past twenty years, he has been doing over two hundred and fifty presentations each year and fifty percent of those are done at the high school level. During this all school assembly, he teaches and entertains at the same time, thus holding the audience's attention.

Be A Survivor

Being successful as a student is becoming more competitive every year. Test scores, class ranking, multi tasking, social expectations, peer pressure, personal relationships, parental concerns and other added responsibilities can cause school to become a “hostile environment”. The Amazing Race

High school can be completed by crawling, walking or running. The pace is an individual decision that many times dictates the entire future of those involved. Academics, sports, clubs, outside jobs and other activities can cause a student to “shut down”, “drop out”, or “just skate by”. Develop the skills necessary to be more successful in the “race to the finish”.

Fear Factor

Today, a school environment can be a place where fear is everywhere. From gang affiliation, peer pressure, relationship issues, poor grades and inadequate skill development, just to mention a few, can cause anxiety in even the most stable of students. Learn how to identify and deal with these elements

    Targeted audience: Grades 7-12

    Audience Size: 200 – 2,000

    Time Needed: Approximately 60 minutes

Americas Got Talent

Every school is diverse and unique in its own way. Both teachers and students need to be responsive to individual ethic groups cultural values, practices, languages, and other aspects of their cultural values. Stereotyping, prejudice and discrimination can quickly destroy a healthy school environment.

Cultural awareness and diversity are becoming increasingly a part of the total educational process. In this fast moving assembly, I show through interaction and lecture how:

All students need to feel a strong sense of belonging

All students need to learn how to interact respectfully with others

All students need to learn to understand and appreciate diversity

During the program, cultural awareness is examined and mini skits are utilized to show how different perceptions affect the outcome of any situation.

Besides Red Ribbon Week and alcohol awareness month, these programs are also excellent for homecoming events, fundraising activities, and prior to prom and testing time periods.
