REALITY THEATRE is youth speaking directly to youth. Our dynamic assembly programs are fun, engaging and explore real life situations in a style that powerfully connects the audience with the performers and the message!
Since 1994, REALITY Theatre’s ensemble of high school students from Chicago's northwest suburbs have been offering dramatic performances of issues relevant and meaningful to today's young audiences. Housed at OMNI Youth Services, our original productions use theatre to show consequences, offer alternatives to unhealthy behavior and promote effective conflict resolution skills. REALITY performs for in school assemblies, “snow” events, youth groups, parent nights, hospitals, shelters and conferences throughout Illinois as well as nationally and internationally.
PRESENTATIONS
REALITY Theatre creates separate productions for Elementary, Junior High and High School aged audiences. Each school year we premiere new shows – so, our work is always fresh, timely and innovative!
