PRESENTATIONS
Michael Gershe, a victim and survivor of a drunken driver incident that killed his mother and almost himself when he was an infant, has found “The Magic of Life.” Michael tells an emotional, but yet humorous and inspirational story that combines stand up comedy, audience participation, and his personal story of how alcohol impacted his life. Despite breaking nearly every bone in his body, he is a former collegiate swimmer, a stand up comedian and has worked in Higher Education for over 15 years. He has performed at colleges and high schools throughout the nation. Knowing that his life almost ended before it began, Michael is fortunate to accomplish his dreams. Although Michael uses humor, he does stress the seriousness of peer pressure, binge drinking and drunken driving. He is simply a mother’s son trying to make a difference in the world by sharing his story in a unique way.
