In her first lecture showcase, Wendi stepped up to the stage in a leather coat and jeans, in the pitch dark, to the sound of whaling police sirens, a light show befitting the Rolling stones, no podium, no notes and if the truth be known, no plan. The audience was stunned and silent, not sure what to think. After opening the show with big laughs and fast-paced life lessons she brought the house down with one huge surprising “aw moment” which brought on the water works and a standing ovation.
That performance set the stage for what would become Wendi’s calling in life. Wendi unintentionally reinvented the lecture format, as we know it today. It wasn’t long before her personal stories of high-risk drinking, irresponsible antics and personal reinvention began making their mark on the lecture circuit. Since then, Wendi has made a commitment to change the dangerous social climate on college campuses today, through humor, personal development, alcohol awareness, social respect & responsibility. The concept is very simple; it’s comedy with a cause and a comedian on a mission. After all of these years, Wendi is still the funniest, most innovative, respected, and requested alcohol aware comedian and lecture artist in North America today. It turns out that humor really is the best medicine.

TRASHED is an inspirational stand- up comedy program based on the life lessons of Wendi Fox. Wendi is a professional stand-up comedian and former high-risk drinker. This Alcohol Awareness Program takes the audience on a roller coaster ride of comedy and catastrophe all slammed together. TRASHED is the most liberal of Wendi’s Alcohol Awareness Programs. This program was designed to keep the attention of even the toughest audiences. TRASHED is a combination of hysterical observations, profound questions and life lessons learned.
Wendi has been known for many years as the anti-lecture artist. She doesn’t pressure students to stop drinking. Instead she asks the questions that provoke thought and create change in their lives. “Just telling them to stop drinking doesn’t work”, says Wendi. Instead she inspires them to find something in life they love more than getting drunk.
Wendi brings TRASHED to a close with “The Big Beer Goggle Challenge”. She invites two willing students to join her on stage. She decorates them with safety helmets and Beer Goggles before running them through a hysterically funny series of coordination and depth perception tests. What happens next is anyone’s guess! “The Beer Goggle Challenge”is “on the floor funny”, while effectively demonstrating the dangers of drinking and driving.
TRASHED is the new and improved version of THE ALCOHOL INSANITY TOUR. Which primarily focuses on “The Campus Party Scene” and what we can do to make sure students enjoy their college experience without compromising their safety. This program is full of wild stories, brain bending moments, safety tips and sobering laughs.
