BIO
Tom Boz is a nationally recognized speaker, who took a hobby and combined it with his education to develop motivational prevention programs for students of all ages. He earned a teaching degree from Northern Illinois University and developed the programs with two suburban Chicago police departments. Tom has been speaking in schools for the last 20 years. He travels across the country speaking to students and has presented numerous times at the Illinois D.A.R.E. Officers’ Conference.
Tom's programs are interactive and use magic, storytelling and humor to reach his audience. His program focuses on making the right choice and his experience doesn't come from past mistakes. Rather, this program educates, teaches and gives strategies that are easy for kids to use immediately. He talks about why students can start to use drugs and how to deal with peer pressure among others things. He provides them practical ways to say “NO” to any choice they are confronted with. The program is designed to educate and provide strategies with new insight into staying healthy. By combining entertainment with education, kids are more receptive to these ideas, thoughts and strategies. The kids relate to them better and the kids relates to Tom.
