Singer-Songwriter-Producer, Karl Anthony writes anthems for life, and is an artist who does not take the traditional entertainment industry path.
You may hear about his fundraising concerts to build schools in Africa and touring throughout the world to places like Australia working with inner city teens promoting nonviolence in Sydney or providing food supplies in the poverty stricken villages of Nicaragua. His adventures are legendary.
Karl Anthony’s service directed touring all started when he was asked to lead the very first Russian/American Youth Summit in Moscow. Karl even performed in the Kremlin for Mr. & Mrs. Gorbachev and then performed for them again in San Diego a few years later while they were in the US.
Once Karl was nearly arrested in China for an impromptu human rights performance on Tianemen Square shortly after the Tianemen Square tragedy. From twenty thousand seat concert arenas in Moscow to homeless shelters in Asia, Karl has toured the globe uniting our humanity with his presence and his music. He has received several Gandhi/King Season For Nonviolence Peace Hero Award for his humanitarian efforts and uniting music.
Karl is also part of the healing arts department for the San Diego Children’s Hospital where he sings for kids at their bedside when he finds himself closer to home.
Karl Anthony’s recording career has created music that crosses boundaries and is truly an international language of pure joy. His song writing style may have influences of rock, world beat, blues, pop, folk and even children's music, but it always communicates love, service and peace.
